News, Bluegrass Stomp, DJ Mark Divita, Hello Lucky, Jim Hjelm, Megan Hann Hair Stylist, Napa, Orange, Perfect Endings, Pink, Silverado Resort, Traci Terrick, Valentino Shoes, Wedding
Eileen + Dave had a perfect napa valley summer wedding at the Silverado Resort. Eileen was such a stunning bride in her Valentino shoes and Jim Hjelm dress and together with Dave they rocked it in front of the camera. I just love their fun and vibrant colors that they choose and Traci’s flowers added that perfect pop. Eileen + Dave were so much fun to photograph and I just loved all of the emotion and great moments that took place on their wedding day. Megan Hann did a great job with the hair and as always, DJ Mark Divita created the best dance party EVER! I have never seen a better dance party while it was still light out. Bluegrass Stomp was an amazing band to have for the ceremony and cocktail hour and I highly recommend them. Last but not least, we LOVED the cupcakes from Perfect Endings. Their Banana Nut Bread cake is to date my favorite wedding cake I have ever had. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom to read Eileen + Dave’s recap of the day along with all of the details that made this such a special wedding. Thank you so much Eileen + Dave for having us photograph your wedding!

Scott + Christines Wedding at the de Young Museum
News, De Young Museum, Downey Street Events, Golden Gate Park, Grace Street Catering, Mark Hopkins Hotel, Precedent Wine, Rain, San Francisco, Twigs and Honey, Wedding
Scott and Christine were married at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park which is one of my all time favorite locations. It happened to be a stormy day but Scott and Christine didn’t let it get them down. With limited time and locations for photos I improvised and what came out of it are some of my favorite images of the year. I have to give a big shout out to Downey Street Events as Lauren did a great job as always with the day of coordination and improvisation that had to take place when moving the ceremony from outside to under a tent. Also, Nathan Kandler, one of the groomsmen, provided wine from his own label, Precedent which was amazing! Definitely a great wine to have at a wedding as it went well with the meal. If you haven’t already be sure to check out Scott and Christine’s Engagement photos and be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom where you can read Scott and Christine’s take on the wedding day along with all the details of all the vendors involved. Enjoy!

Katie and John have such great chemistry and I loved the energy at their wedding. John rocked the bow tie and Katie was stunning in her Amsale dress. I knew after their engagement session that we were going to have a blast roaming the streets of San Francisco and Golden Gate Park and boy did we ever. Some of my favorite pics came at sunset on the roof top of the City Club so be sure to scroll down to see those. I loved all the details from John’s custom bow tie and custom cuff links to their cake topper and map of San Francisco for their guest book. I should also add that I LOVED working with Curtis Nemetz and Natalie Bowen as always. Curtis pushes me to see things from a different angle and my photos are better because of it, thanks Curtis! Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see Curtis’s video from the day along with Katie and John’s recap of the day with information on all the vendors and details and their advice to other couples planning their wedding.

Flory Photo Branding by Must Warn Others
News, Branding, Mamas Sauce, Must Warn Others, Prototype Syndicate, Website
It has been a little over a year since our new branding and site was completed by Greg at Must Warn Others and I still am absolutely in love with everything about it. Greg just launched a new site and new name for his firm, Must Warn Others, and in the process he took some great pics of the collateral that I thought I would share. Be sure to head over to his site and check it out. I also have to give a big shout out to Raul at Prototype Syndicate who did the development of the website and to Mama’s Sauce for the amazing print job. I highly recommend all three of these firms for your design, development and print needs.

There are few people that I have known longer than Carolyn. We have grown up together since being in a playgroup before pre-school and it was such an honor to photographer her and Ben’s wedding. The whole weekend was an amazing celebration with details executed perfectly by Kelly from Mint Weddings along with great food from Giuseppe’s Fine Catering. I loved the rehearsal dinner and except for the Red Sox hats (go A’s!) I loved all the details of the wedding. The cigar roller was a great touch and both the Hora and the Chinese Tea ceremony were great cultural elements that they included into their special day. And I can’t forget the cupcakes from Sweet Cheeks…amazing! Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to read Carolyn’s take on the wedding along with all the details of the day. Thanks again Carolyn and Ben for having us shoot your wedding!

Carrie + Chris …. Words do very little to describe the sweetness that is Carrie and Chris. These two love for one another is so very real and inspiring and it was such an honor to capture them and their friends on family on their special day. Doesn’t hurt that their wedding was held at the beautiful Ahwahnee Hotel in the Yosemite Valley. Carrie and Chris’s big day was all about love, family and some seriously good food. Their day included all the right touches, from Carrie’s Amy Kuschel dress and Jimmy Choo shoes to vintage bangles and brooches belonging to her great-grandmother, the day was centered around elegance and sophistication. Be sure to scroll all the way down to read the couples notes on their destination wedding.
