First off I want to say Happy Valentines Day to everyone!  Peter and Jessica planned this beautiful wedding while living all the way in Brooklyn NY.  I aboslutely loved the atmosphere surrounding their wedding as it was a great celebration of their love and family and friends.  The Bride and Groom made a perfect match with Jessica in a Melissa Sweet Dress and Peter in a Paul Smith suit.  With all that said, my favorite moment of the day came when Peter and Jessica sang a duet to Gillian Welch’s “My Dear Someone”. While Peter is the professional muscian, I have to say Jessica stole the show (Sorry Peter :).  Be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom where Jessica shares her thoughts on the day and advice for other brides.

It is always fun to work on a shoot for another artist.  I have done photos for 2 of Brenton’s albums and for this one we shot the photos in the Marin Headlands and just outside of Occidental.  Brenton and his wife Jude are two of our favorite people.  Something else you will see in these pics is a little more photoshop work.  While this is not something we do all of the time, I had fun styling up the pics.  Lastly, be sure to check out the pics at the end of the post as they were shot with one of my favorite toys, my Holga. This summer we are shooting the wedding of the lead singer from Mobius Band and I have become huge fans of their work.  Anyways, they have a free valentines day ep that you can download here and I highly recommend that you do so. I mean where else are you going to hear some great covers of Kanye, the Dixie Chicks and Tom Petty?
