In the winter of 2007 we took a trip with our dear friends the Evan’s to Patagonia.  Now some of you might be saying, we’ve seen these before! That is true, I posted these on our old blog but I was talking with a client this past week and they were wondering if we had any of our travel pics on our blog and so I thought I would post these to start.  If you would like prints of these you can buy some here to help out Jackson’s Smile and you can get other ones here on my site.  Enjoy the pics.

We are currently enjoying an amazing weekend without a wedding and we are spending it with family in Colorado.  Enjoy these pics!

We are absolutely loving it here and can’t wait for the wedding this weekend.  Today I shot pics of the guy’s golfing and tomorrow is the Bridesmaids brunch followed by manicures and pedicures on the lawn overlooking the beach.  I promise that I will be sure to post pics but for now here is a pic of my favorite 2 women in the whole world!

As we are getting ready to head out next week for a wedding in Cabo, it reminded me that I had wanted to share where Cara and I honeymooned at because I think it would make the perfect spot for a destination wedding and is also a great spot for a honeymoon or even a little get away.  Verana is located in Yelapa which is south of Puerto Vallarta and is only accessible by boat.  The resort is perched up above the bay there and the setting is absolutely amazing.  The food is out of this world and we can’t speak highly enough about the place.  Check out these videos and be sure to let them know that you were referred by us. I just shot an amazing engagement session last night which included pics in SFMOMA and the alley ways around it along with photos out on Treasure Island.  Here is a pic from the session which is now my current desktop.  For the photographers out here, how about the lack of noise from the nikon d3 handheld at iso 3200. gotta love technology.
