Feb 5th & 6th we will be taking portraits and donating all of the proceeds to help those in need in Haiti.

In the spring of 2001 I had the opportunity to spend some time with workers from World Relief in a refuge camp in Izmit, Turkey which was the site of a disastrous 7.0 earthquake in the fall of 99. I will never forget seeing the devastation and how much work it took to help bring back a community so overcome by loss.  With the recent loss in Haiti we thought we would take portraits and donate the funds to help those in need in Haiti.

We are going to be having 2 days of portraits with 30 and 60 minute time slots starting at 10am -5pm on Friday Feb 5th and Saturday Feb 6th 9am -5pm in which all of the proceeds are going to be donated to Oxfam and World Vision.  30 minute portrait sessions are $300 and 60 minute sessions are $500 and include digital negatives on a DVD.  For Friday the 5th we are going to be shooting in the hills in San Ramon and surrounding areas then on Sat. we are going to be shooting in Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco. If there is a need for more dates or some of those times don’t work for you, let me know and we can work something out.

For all of the other photographer’s out there that are doing something similar, leave a comment below with a link on what you are doing and I will be sure to post them.
