“When my husband and I were talking about photography for our wedding, we didn’t really know anything about wedding photography.  We had no idea what we wanted, and when I started browsing websites, I was impressed and overwhelmed by the variety of styles and the high level of quality out there.  

It was then we decided that we wanted someone good that we clicked with who could truly capture the heart of our special day.  So we sat down together and started looking at some websites.  When we found Joel’s, we viewed a slideshow of pics from recent weddings.  We both cried with joy at how the moments captured showed so much more than just the setting of the day.

 We e-mailed Joel, heard back almost immediately, and arranged a meeting.  With only a 5-month planning process, I had decided only to meet in person any photographers who looked promising to hire.  We only met Joel and Cara, and instantly knew they were perfect.  We could tell that their hearts are really in this, and that they understood how important it was to capture the little moments of the day.

 We now know that we were blessed beyond measure to find them.  We were married Oct 8, 2006, and still our photos are a treasure and I discover new moments in them every time I look at them.  Joel and Cara were a true joy to work with, and they made the whole process so easy.  They were seemingly everywhere on our wedding day, capturing hundreds of little moments we didn’t even know happened, all without our even realizing they were there.  Even though they seemed always just in the background as they were capturing the day, all we had to do was catch their eye across the room and in a second they would be there to capture a picture with a friend.  

I am blown away and humbled by how beautiful Joel and Cara’s art really is.  If you are fortunate enough to hire them for your wedding, you will be grateful for the rest of your lives as you look back at your beautiful wedding photos.  They not only captured the important moments of the day, they captured so much emotion and beauty that I had a hard time believing it was even me in the photos.  Joel and Cara truly are a lovely, sweet couple who have been given a special gift in their photography talent.”
